JubaSxul

JubaSxul (Itamar Bril) has been collecting music for 20 years and DJing for the past three. With roots in hip-hop, funk, UK sounds and all kinds of bass-heavy, drum-driven music, he’s mainly looking for music that moves the body and sparks the ear. His sets move freely between genres, searching for grooves in unexpected places and connections that surprise even him. He likes to come in with a direction, but let the moment take over — reading the room, improvising, pulling out unexpected tracks and seeing where he can take everyone from there. Alongside DJing, Itamar produces hip-hop and free-form electronic music. What he loves most about the whole thing is the discovery: finding new music, getting excited about it, and passing that excitement on.
